Acne is a skin disease that you have almost 75 percent of adolescents.
Although it can occur in adulthood especially pregnant women and during the days of the menses due to hormone changes that are experienced in these situations.
Exist on the skin called sebaceous glands that produce sebum or fat whose function is to lubricate the skin. The grease goes on the skin surface through conduits and through the pores. The problem occurs when the pores become clogged and prevent the fat comes out, causing the appearance of unsightly pimples.During adolescence, hormonal changes cause increased fat production in the skin, making it easier for clogged pores and pimples appear. It is believed that acne appears most often in adolescence as a result of increased male hormones also stimulate the production of fat, causing an increase in the presence of bacteria on the skin.
Although the main cause of its appearance is hormone, there are several factors that can influence acne severity and the frequency with which it manifests. Cosmetics acids and some medications, as well as oral contraceptives, can cause some cases of acne, though consumption is a factor to consider when treating this disease and especially to prevent it.
There are many myths that exist around this issue, such as the belief that chocolate and sausages cause the appearance of grain. The truth is that there is no study that clearly demonstrated that consumption of certain foods is the direct cause of acne. There is no reason to think that fatty foods are to blame for the emergence of pimples and blackheads, because the fat that is ingested in the diet does not accumulate in the sebaceous glands, although it is true that incorrect or unbalanced diet can cause the frequency of the appearance of the grains increases.
The advice is to eat a balanced diet, not abuse of fatty foods, processed or refined and especially rich in fruits and vegetables, foods with an abundance of antioxidants like beta-carotene, vitamin C and vitamin E among others, that have important functions, including maintaining a healthy skin.
Do not forget to drink plenty of water, and it plays an essential role in moisturizing and healthy skin. It should also be aware that some habits such as snuff, alcohol or sleep deprivation can worsen the condition of acne.
Just as food is not the direct cause of the appearance of acne, correct and balanced diet will not make it disappear from the overnight, but certainly can do, along with proper hygiene of the skin, his condition did not deteriorate and that dims.
