Skin Care Laser

The new non-ablative lasers can stimulate collagen production in the deep dermis of the skin. Because the skin is not removed, does not require any recovery time as mentioned in the previous method.

The benefits of nonablative laser treatment are:

Removes scars
* Improving wrinkles
* Removes pigmentation

Treatment of pigmentation. The effects of aging from the sun, not only cause wrinkles, dry skin, also cause pigmentation of the skin. Laser technology is very effective to remove the pigmentation. The exfoliation or resurfacing removes excess pigment. Nonablative treatments are also very effective to remove the pigment very severe.

At present, intense pulsed light (IPL) is used to remove pigmentation. IPL is excellent for removing stains and is a very soft.

Stretching of the skin. The skin tightening laser is possible, but less effective than other methods of stretching. Exfoliation skin also stretches a bit because the skin lesion stimulates production of collagen in the skin. The new collagen is narrower and narrower collagen is a stretched skin. This effect takes months after treatment of exfoliation and is not as noticeable as a facelift.

Waxing. The hair is the most common treatment today. There are many different machines for hair removal. Many people prefer the machine called LED Lights for hair removal. It is safer for darker skin types.

Tattoo removal. The tattoo removal was one of the first applications of laser technology in the skin. There are many different wavelengths for tattoo removal and the wavelength is chosen according to the specific color of the tattoo you want to delete. Tattoo removal requires several treatments and a long period of time, but it is preferable to surgery that can leave scars.

The information presented above is the most used applications in laser technology in the skin. Each of these applications is best achieved with a specific wavelength that is most appropriate for the skin condition being treated.

Choose the right doctor
I recommend that you seek advice at least two physicians certified in laser treatments. Normally dermatologists and plastic surgeons are doctors with more experience in this technology.

This form of skin treatments can achieve remarkable benefits in skin care, but the treatment is good only if the doctor has the training and experience. In untrained hands this technology can damage the skin, eyes or cause injury. Of course, it is advisable to perform these treatments in a spa unless it is certified by a health agency in laser technology.
